River

River is a gorgeous 14 yo Appaloosa gelding standing at 15hh. River came to us with alot of knowledge and training. The issue he arrived with was that he would spin really fast whenever he spooked or got buddy sour and wanted to return to the group that was riding. Nobody appreciates a spin move comin' outta left field. After the first handful of rides on him the value he put into the rider and gentleness he had for their relationship together started growing. He is much more relaxed and therefor much more attentive to the rider and confident in their commands. If you set the expectation, he's good at meeting it. Without expectation he lacks focus. He is a great horse and we all enjoy riding him. Plus he's absolutely gorgeous. He's great with the herd, transitions from his gait to his lope seamlessly, and has a big round appy booty.
