Comanche is a 22 yo registered sorrel gelding standing at 15 hh. He came to us with a one owner background. He was born on the ranch we got him from and they sent him here simply because they wanted to retire him from daily work on the ranch, but recognized that he still has a ton left in him to give. They were hoping some eventing family with a bunch of kids who he can train will want to give him his last 8-10 years. Putting this horse “out to pasture” to retire with a fat and lazy belly isn’t something this horse can do. It would depress him so badly. He WANTS to go. He loves to have a job. He is stick joy broke and we are really hoping a 4h or rodeo evening family will see this bio and get excited. He is an excellent teacher because he was trained from a very young age to be an excellent horse. With NFR time as a head roping horse in his history, you can know this is a high caliber guy. If his age doesn’t scare you, come ride him. If his age concerns you but you are still interested, come and ride him. He isn’t finished yet and we will rally in his corner to find him the home this incredible horse deserves.
